This beautiful beach seascape lakeshore pink sky sunset painting was originally painted in acrylics by Michigan artist, Jenn Steffen. It is of Wilderness State park in Carp Lake Michigan located along the south shores of Lake Michigan where it meets Big Stone Bay just a short distance west of Mackinaw City. This is and was one of our favorite family vacation spots every summer for camping.

The painting is titled "Summers End". That last night of the last day of the last summer vacation for the year and you just don’t want it to end. We hurry to our favorite spot on the beach to watch the sun set and the sky paints its’s best ever display. Lingering until the night is black and wishing this summer night could last forever. So many of these nights of past. Bare toes in the cool sand. You can feel the change in the air and know there aren’t too many warm nights left.

You are purchasing an art print of the painting. It is printed using museum quality fade resistant bright white cotton archival paper and ink and has a matte finish. All artwork is illustrated by artist Jenn Steffen.
